Below is a garden being replaced using our Premier Installation Service.
For this type of install we use the following standard steps to ensure our customers have an all year round perfect artificial lawn.
We also offer a Basic installation for those on a tighter budget, for this exclude step 3.
Step 1.
A very sad, dry and tired looking lawn.
Step 2.
The old existing lawn is cut up and removed.
Step 3.
A type1 aggregate is laid down first to firm the sub base and to assist with drainage, this is compacted down using a vibrating plate.
Step 4.
The area is then blinded with builders sand, again this compacted down to assit with drainage and help with achieving the correct level for the grass to be laid on.
Step 5.
An anti weed geo-textile membrane is laid to help prevent weeds comming through.
Step 6.
The artificial grass is laid and cut to size and secured at the edges.
