Installation Service
We do offer a full supply and installation service for those who prefer the hassle free option, covering Essex, Kent, London, Surrey & Sussex.
Our own fully trained and directly employed installation teams are happy to carry out this labour intensive and time consuming service.
If you have your garden dimensions at hand we can give you a guide line estimate for this service, although this would be subject to a no obligation free site survey and inspection to give an accurate costing.
Along with this free service we also bring along large samples of our range of grasses for you to see for yourself, how they look and feel when laid down in your garden.
Please allow between £25.00/£30.00 per square metre additional cost for a full installation service, on top of the cost of the grass.
Our first class PREMIUM installation service includes all of the following steps below: We also offer a BASIC installation, for this we exclude step 3.
Step 1.
A very sad, dry and tired looking lawn.
Step 2.
The old existing lawn is cut up and removed.
Step 3.
A type1 aggregate is laid down first to firm the sub base and to assist with drainage, this is compacted down using a vibrating plate. (This stage can be excluded if either woking to a budget or if the area drains through well).
Step 4.
The area is then blinded with builders sand, again this compacted down to assist with drainage and help with achieving the correct level for the grass to be laid on.
Step 5.
An anti weed geo-textile membrane is laid to help prevent weeds coming through.
Step 6.
The artificial grass is laid and cut to size and secured at the edges, either by inserting a treated timber frame or glued onto a cement edging to ensure your grass is firmly fixed.
