Suppliers and Installers of Artificial grass
We do offer a full supply and installation service for those who prefer the hassle free option, for Essex, Kent, London, Surrey & Sussex.
As guide for installation costs, please allow between £20.00 - £30.00 per square metre in addition to the cost of the grass. This will allow for the following services: cutting and removal of the existing lawn, compacting and levelling of the area, inserting a border for edging, all aggregates required for the base work, geo-textile membrane, glue, seaming tape and all labour costs. The above is only a guide price, as each garden has its own individual looks and appearance and size, therefore costings will vary from lawn to lawn.
Our own fully trained and employed installation teams are happy to carry out this labour intensive and time consuming service.
If you have your garden dimensions at hand we can give you a guide line estimate for this service, although this would be subject to a no obligation free site survey and inspection to give an accurate costing. Currently we only offer a free site survey within a 30-40 mile radius of post code ME 20.
Along with this free service we also bring along large samples of our range of grasses for you to see for yourself, how they look and feel when laid down in your garden.

There are several key factors that set us apart from our competitors, we will quote for both a premium or deluxe installation, giving you the option to choose which is best for both your budget and your garden requirements, there are no hidden costs.
We offer 2 types of installations, our Premium or Deluxe service, details and pricing on request, or simply e-mail your gardens dimensions and we will gladly price your project accordingly.

Step 1. A tired & bald looking lawn before being replaced with artificial grass.
Step 2. The existing lawn is cut up using a turf cutting machine and removed from site. All weeds & any vegetation or large stones are also removed and the area is levelled.

Step 3. If a deluxe installation is being fitted the next stage is to infill with a type1 aggregate to firm the sub-base and to assist with drainage, this is compacted down using a vibrating plate. Also at this point either a treated timber frame or cement edging is inserted around the perimeter to secure your artificial grass too once it has been laid and cut to size.
Step 4. The area is blinded with sharp sand, spreading evenly over the surface, again using a compacting plate the area is compacted to to ensure a smooth level.

Step 5. A permeable anti weed geo-textile membrane is laid, carefully cut to size and secured to the the edging help prevent weeds coming through.
Step 6. The artificial grass borders are cut according to the shape of your garden. Our installations team ensure that the edges are level and consistant with any obstacles such as paving or fencing.The grass cutting has to be perfect and correct first time to prevent waste. Precision is vital for your finished lawn to impress. Once expertly cut to shape your grass the secured to the framework to prevent it from moving.

Once installed you can now sit back relax and enjoy your Forever Green Lawn 365 days of the year.

If heavy usage is envisaged we do recommend a sand dressing of between 6/8 kg of kiln dry sand per square metre.
Maintenance
Non sand filled products, just brush with stiff broom or rake occasionally.
(Infill with 6/8 kilo kiln dry sand if heavy usage).
Sand filled products, top up with kiln dry sand regularly and brush in with garden rake or stiff broom.
We do recommend removing weed or any form of growth by hand as required.
Grass Warranty
UV colour stabilised and guaranteed for 7 years against fading, discolouring.
The following are not covered.
General misuse, piercing, subsoil movement, staining, acts of nature, acts of pets, airbourne pollination, deep bulb growth, burn marks, paint staining & general wear & tear.

D.I.Y Enthusiasts
If you are looking to install yourself then we recommend you use the following tools to help and assist you in your work. Should you require advice on how to best lay the artificial grass along with quantities of aggregates required for your base work, Forever Green Lawns are more than willing to offer any free advice to any customer who purchases any of our artificial grass products.
1. Turf cutter to remove the existing turf, can be hired from any good toolhire shop.
2. Wacker plate to compact aggregates, can be hired from any good toolhire shop.

3. Wheelbarrow to barrow turf & aggregates as required.
4. Following tools to assist with preparing your base work.
5. Good sharp knife to cut with.
