50 Fake Grass Edgings £3.00 Per Linear Metre.

Edjmate makes life a lot easier when installing an edging perimeter around your artificial grass. It helps to prevent the ingress of soil and stones into the grass, whilst at the same time provides a secure and positive fixing points for the artificial grass to bond to, eliminating the need to insert timber edging or alternative measures. Eco-friendly and manufactured from recycled polypropylene. This page is for 50 lengths, covering 29.25 Linear Metres (approximately 96 feet). This product is easy and quick to install in any weather, it's rot proof (unlike timber), and will last at least the same life as your artificial grass. Edgmate has up to 18 fixing points per liner metre and is highly flexible, so it can take any shape as per your existing lawn did, or create new shape for your new lawn. Installation Instructions; *DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HAMMER OR FORCE EDJMATE INTO THE GROUND. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW*. Once the existing turf has been removed and area dug out, you need to create a channel around the perimeter to insert the Edjmates into the ground. Once this is done butt them together with the inline clips provided so that the top of the fixing tabs will be level with the top surface of the sand once installed. Use as many of the fixing tabs as required and we recommend the use of 6" nails/pins, however at this point do not insert the nails fully. (The "Teeth" are there for lateral support and to allow for adjustment on the level if required during installation). Once you are happy with the level back fill and compact the outer soil up to the level above the "Teeth", this can be up level to the top, or slightly below the top of the Edjmate, there is no correct or incorrect level, it's a personal choice. After the sub base has been laid, levelled, compacted and the membrane laid, finish hammering in the pins to bring the fixing tabs level with the surface. Cut in the Artificial Grass to shape and apply Artificial Grass adhesive to the tabs and then secure the grass on to the tabs.
